• Family Meetings/Therapy—family will be encouraged to attend 12-step meeting on visitation days

 

• 12-step meetings inside and outside facility

• Patient journaling throughout 90-day experience

 

• Written patient exercises/activities designed to have patient critique and analyze

 

• Recovering addict guest lectures

 

• Discussion groups/speakers on various aspects of addiction

 

• Reading assignments/discussion

 

• Role of AA/NA in our recovery plan

 

• Patient will develop relapse prevention plan that is realistic, specific, and measurable

 

• “Coin Ceremony” – all patients who have successfully completed the ninety (90) day program will take part in a graduation ceremony with input from family, staff, and fellow patients
